The visit to the Mufti of the governorate of Al Balqaa

His Eminence the Archbishop Venedictos, accompanied by Archimandrite Nectarios and Reverend Father Gabriel Taa’mneh who is in charge of the church in Salt, and members of the church visited Al Sheikh Amin Al Kilani, who met the visitors at his front door with great joy.
His Excellency, the Sheikh, spoke of the intimate relationship between the Muslims and Christians in the governorate of Al Balqaa, especially in the city of Salt, and he listed a number of beautiful stories that reflect that.

Father Gabriel, in his turn, and on behalf of His Eminence, also talked about the same issue emphasizing the word on love and forgiveness that we live by in all of Jordan and especially the city of Salt.

His Eminence the Archbishop presented a memorial shield to his Excellency the Sheikh expressing his thanks and appreciation for his warm welcome, morals, for his good reputation, and for his known gentleness and way of living with his fellow Christians in the city of Salt.
