Teacher Martha Sweiss who donated the hostle of the monastery of
Saint John the Baptist visited the site where His Eminence
Metropolite Venedictus received her .
She expressed her happiness for the works performed for the hostle
as well as the beautiful spirit of the construction which soon will be
ready for spiritual meetings for our beloved parishioners .

Houses of God .
On Monday noon 13.2.2012 , His Eminence Metropolite Venedictus
and a number of the Orthodox Youth Coordinating Committee members
welcomed H.E. the Director of the Public Security Mr. Hussein Al
Majali at the Diocese for lunch previously offered by His Eminence
when visiting H.E. at the Directorate .
On Sunday morning 5/2/2012 , Sunday of Publican and Pharisee and the
first Sunday of Triody . His Eminence Metropolite Vendictus presided
the Holy mass service in Saints Costantine and Helena church / Marj El
Hamam with the participation of parish church Father Alexious Kakeish
On Saturday evening 4/2/2012 at St Nectarius church , a sunset service was
held starting the Triodion time and the sunset of the Publican and Pharisee
Sunday , which is the first Triody Sunday preparing for the beginning of
the Holy Great Fasting .
On the occasion of this great feast for the world teachers who enlightened
with their knowledge , teachings , prayers and modesty and who were
considered by church the example for teachers and students .
We hereby announce to our spiritual sons parishioners that a Holy
Mass service will be broadcasted on Sunday 5th February 2012
from Saints Costantine and Helena church / Marj El Hamam .
His Eminence Metropolite Venedictus presided the sunset and Mass
service of the Presentation of the Lord feast at the Presentation of the
Lord church in sweifieh in the presence of a number of parishioners
with the partnership of Sister Mary coming from Greece who chanted
the Byzantine Hymns suitiable for the occasion as per the eastern
traditional bases of our church .
His Eminence later greeted the parish fathers , the youth and the
Parishioners.
