On Friday morning 27th January 2012 , His Eminence Metropolite
Venedictus received a number of parishioners with their families
at St John the Baptist monastery / Jordan river , they expressed
their astonishment with this great spiritual edifice and the standard
of the performed work , they toured the monastery and listened to a
work briefing , also Mr. Michel Dahdal , his wife and their son Andre
made also a visit to the monastery and checked the church which they
donated previously for its construction in the name of Saint Andrews .
Between emotions and feelings of sorrow for what happened and
still happening in the Republic of Syria where Father Basilious
Nassar passed away as a victim for these works and while feeling
happy for being accepted as a martyr while announcing his chrisitian
faith which pushed him to rescue the other and help and support him
with great love .

Almightyto bless this Father’s family also we present our deepest
condolences to all Antakia Orthodox church and all the Orthodox
church world wide , pleading the Holy lord to grant us peace and love

On Friday morning 20th January 2012 , believers from all parts
of the Kingdom headed to attend the Holy Mass service and the sacred
water prayer at Saint John the Baptist monastery on the East side of
the Jordan River which was presided by His Eminence Metropolite
Venedictus who marched in solemn procession with the venerable
priests , the scouts and the chanters carrying the Jerusalem Mother of
God icon kept in St Nectarius church so that the believers gather the
Mother of God grace , the service started with the partnership of
Metropolite Dawood of Georgia accompanied by three nuns who
came to Jordan to be blessed on this glorious day .
On Sunday morning 22/1/2012 , His Eminence Metropolite Venedictus
shared with His Brother in God Metropolite Dawood from Georgia in the
Holy Mass service at Saint Georgious / safout with the participation
Every year during Christmas and Holy Apparition feasts the love Committee
holds a dinner at the Diocese for its members and all those supporting the
Committee accordingly the dinner was set on Saturday evening 21/1/2012
a love table was set with the presence of a large number of invitees who
His Eminence Metropolite Venedictus presided the Holy Mass service
at the Presentation of the Lord church in sweifieh on the occasion of
the birth of our Lord , God and Savior Jesus Christ by body , each of
Venerable Fathers : Ibrahim Dabbour , Boulus Khoury , Butros Janho
